Achievements of the Toronto Chapter
In Guyana
Annual Bursaries are awarded to students of the School
Three Founders' Awards are given each year for Elocution to Elementary, Middle and Upper School students.
Computer equipment, books, appliances, furniture, materials and supplies are given to the School whenever requested.
Manual typewriters (9 in all) were sent to the School recently as part of the Chapter's commitment to the Business Program
More than sixty computers have been shipped to BHS enabling the students to prepare for the Information Technology program at CXC

Annual fund-raising events
A theatre production, written by a Guyanese playwright, and directed and performed by members of the Chapter, raised some $8,000
An international network of professionals, academics, entrepreneurs, financial, and business consultants who support each other
Community Projects in Toronto
The development of 3 community bursary awards for post secondary education. The first awards were given out in September 1997.
BHS Singers perform at various Guyanese, West Indian, and Canadian functions, including the Guyana Independence Day celebrations.
Teachers, Professors, Entrepreneurs, Financial Consultants, and Business Owners lend their expertise voluntarily to the Community.
